Episode 81: Kate Grenville on why she formed “writers For Climate Action”
What is more important than action on climate change? Nothing, thought much-loved writer Kate Grenville, so she decided to form “Writers For Climate Action” to galvanise writers to spread the word that at this election, voters should put the environment first.
A group of writers from across the political spectrum including Helen Garner, Charlotte Wood, John Coetzee and Tom Kenneally have lent their names to her campaign. Here she answers the question: “can writers make a difference?” with an emphatic “hell, yes!”
