Hilary Mantel discusses “Mantel Pieces” her new collection of pieces from the London Review of Books on everyone from Anne Boleyn to Madonna, from Henry VIII to Kate Middleton.

She talks about Impostor Syndrome, the joys of book reviewing, and how writing has sustained her through ill health – as well as her famous essay on “Royal Bodies”, that caused such an uproar.
