This is a rare opportunity to hear Nicole interview leading writer Markus Zusak about his body of work and contribution to Australian literature and society.

Markus Zusak is the internationally bestselling author of six novels, including The Book ThiefBridge of Clay and The Messenger. His books are translated into more than fifty languages, and have spent more than a decade on the New York Times bestseller list. They have also been adapted into films, plays and musicals throughout the world.

This is a rare opportunity to hear Nicole interview leading writer Anna Funder about her body of work and contribution to Australian literature and society.

Anna Funder is the author of Stasiland (winner of the Samuel Johnson Prize) and All That I Am (winner of the Miles Franklin Award and many other prizes). Both books are international bestsellers published in 25 countries. Stasiland is being adapted for television, and All That I Am for a feature film.

Robert Drewe is the much-loved author of iconic books including The Bodysurfers and The Shark Net. His novels, short stories and memoirs have been widely translated and adapted for film and television. They have also won numerous prizes in Australia and abroad. The Drowner was voted one of the ten best international novels of the decade.

Join books writer and podcaster Nicole Abadee for a fascinating three-part literary series featuring some of Australia’s most acclaimed writers. Nicole writes for Good Weekend, regularly appears at writers’ festivals as a facilitator, and has a notable podcast, Books, Books, Books, where she speaks to Australian and international writers about their latest work. She is also a judge for the 2021 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards - The Christina Stead Prize for Fiction.

This is a rare opportunity to hear Nicole interview leading writers Robert Drewe, Anna Funder and Markus Zusak about their body of work and contributions to Australian literature and society.
